LED moving head

Led moving head  lights are very attractive and fantastic stand-alone units which spin, move and swivel in practically any direction, spreading coloured lights throughout the ceiling, walls, floors, the stage and the people. The fixtures are standard products in a lot of bars, restaurants, discos and nightclubs. As a light source, the moving heads use either arc lamps or the up to date LED (light emitting diodes) technology. Using the most recent LED lighting has its advantages, but there also are a couple of drawbacks.
When referring to benefits of LED Lights, its low energy consumption is the initial thing that should be started with. It is so small, because LED lights need less power than a standard light bulb, which, in the end, suggests that a lot of units could possibly be mounted and use the energy of a standard energy supply. This is wonderful for disco and DJ parties . So alongside being very convenient to work with, LED heads may save some money from your power bill.
Another advantage of LED moving head light is the low thermal radiation. In contrast to standard stage lighting lamps, moving head fixtures utilizing LED technology do not get very hot, that means that the light show might be run without any interruptions, because of equipment fault. And also, LED lights are very long lasting - the normal life of the LED is approximately 50 000 working hours, which makes the maintenance of the units less complicated and cheaper.
LED moving head spots benefit also from their colour effects. The 3 standard colours - Red, Green and Blue (RGB) - mixed together, secures millions of mixtures and colour choices. The mix of colours is very easily managed using the help of a DMX software installed on a normal computer.
Moving heads DMX are also small, compact and portable. Because of their small dimensions and light-weight materials, it is very easy to set them up and aim them at any spot in the club or bar.
IF, LED moving head have some negative aspects too. They are coming primarily from limitation of the LED technology. LED beams cannot get a directed spotlight, because there are a lot of sources of light. It is also hard to get a "good" white light. In fact, many colours are nearly impossible to create, even using the boundless possibilities of colour mixing. Another difficulty of the LED moving heads is the fact that their depth drops off very quick in big ranges - a possible reason for this is the lack of lens. The result is that the light breaks and it cannot be excellent concentrated into a single beam. It also takes a bit more time to set up the DMX moving heads (establishing DMX addresses, light patterns programming, and so on.)
Even with their limitations, LED moving heads controlled by a DMX software are crucial for the evolution of the stage and nightclub lighting technology. They are very versatile because of the big number of DMX channels being used, which helps make them nowadays inseparable component of any light show.

Shahid’s dreams to work with KJo crash

Shahid’s dreams to work with KJo crash

Shahid Kapoor's wait to work with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions just got longer. We reported how the actor had suggested Dharma co-produce the Hindi remake of Tamil hit Vettai along with UTV, and for some time, it even looked like his dream was about to be fulfilled.
But between reports of being shadowed by an unknown stalker and getting feedback on the recently aired promos of his next Teri Meri Kahani, Shahid will now have to deal with the disappointment of Vettai being produced by UTV alone.
A source close to the project told Mirror, "Shahid had earlier committed to a film with Karan Johar, which was to be directed by Punit Malhotra but it did not happen due to certain reasons. With Shahid keen to work with Karan as that's one banner that has eluded him so far, things seemed to fall in place when UTV came up with a proposal to remake Vettai and Shahid suggested KJo co-produce it. UTV and KJo were planning to work out the details of a joint production. However, now it seems the deal is not working out."
Asked why Dharma opted out of the project, the source explained, "Karan is already doing a co-production with Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. He does not want to do another coproduction.
He has a long-standing relationship with UTV and does not want to hamper it. Besdies, he is busy with his own directorial venture Student Of The Year. However there are no ill-feelings between them and UTV is associated with Dharma Productions in other ventures."
Both Karan Johar and Siddharth Roy Kapoor of UTV chose not to comment on the issue.

Dhoni gifts gloves to Akshay Kumar

Dhoni gifts gloves to Akshay Kumar!

The India captain gifted the actor the gloves he wore in the match against Pakistan
Akshay Kumar is over the moon after having received a special pair of gloves from Team India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, after India beat Pakistan in the Asia Cup match in Bangladesh on Saturday.

Says a source, "Akshay is a huge cricket fan, but few know that he's also a big fan of Dhoni. He feels MSD is the best thing to have happened to Indian cricket in a long time. Akki has never met Dhoni, so when he had the chance to meet the Team India captain in Bangladesh while promoting his next release there, Akshay jumped at it. After he gave Virat Kohli the Man of the Match trophy, he congratulated Dhoni on the victory. He told him that it was a superb match for India, especially as it was a difficult target to chase. He also mentioned that he's a big fan. Little did he know that Dhoni would be gifting him his gloves later that night."

Dhoni sent his victory gloves to Akshay's hotel along with a 'Thank You' note. "When India was facing a crisis during the Australian series, Akshay was one of the few stars who actively came out in support of Dhoni on his social networking page. This was after the Indian captain received criticism over his bad performance. Akshay posted (sic): "Dhoni, don't worry, true lovers of Indian cricket are behind you in every step of the way man. Everyone's gotta hit Rock Bottom, it's the only way one can storm it back to the Top... just think about the series, day by day, dear friend. Everything else comes later dude..." After Akshay got the gloves from Dhoni, he called him up and thanked him for the generous gift."

Now, Akshay plans to gift the gloves to his son Aarav after he returns from Bangladesh. "Akshay was keen for Aarav to travel with him for the match, but when he couldn't because of school, the actor waved flags at the match which read: 'I Love Cricket But I Love My Son More' and 'I Love my Niece More Than John Loves His Muscles'. Aarav will be thrilled to get Dhoni's gloves, as he loves cricket as much as his father."

I don’t want to be a man in a man’s world: Neha Dhupia

I don’t want to be a man in a man’s world: Neha Dhupia
Even though her career did not take off as impressively as she had expected it to have, actor Neha Dhupia's learning curve, in her nine year B-Town stint, has earned her the much required brownie points.
While the actor candidly confesses that she is "happy" that she's "got a lot of work to do in the industry," when it comes to creative satisfaction, Neha feels she has a valid reason to cheer. "I have come a long way in Bollywood. And I am very happy with the body of work that I have done in the industry. But, there's a long way to go for me," says Neha who adds, "After spending these many years in the industry, I know why actors make desperate choices to take up every role that comes their way. I am always scared of that moment when one day I will wake up only to find I don't have any work. But I am glad that I have got many things to do right now."
That could be the reason why Neha is keeping herself busy with striking brand promotions deals and donning the thinking hat of an entrepreneur apart from involving herself in charity and acting. At the same time, Neha feels it is acting that tops the priority list. "I do a lot of other activities, but would like to stick to acting as the most important thing in life. I was majorly into sports until I got bitten by the acting bug," says Neha who has two releases this year.
The actor feels happy to have got wonderful inputs and encouragement in the industry. "While I was working with Priyadarshan, he had this piece of advice for me, 'acting is all about using common sense.' And I religiously follow the same. It's made a lot of difference," says the actor.
Currently, it is her singledom that's making her happy. "I was in a relationship. But now I am single and I am very happy," says Neha who has this mantra to share, "As long as you are happy, it does not matter whether you are single or married. If you are married and are unhappy, then you need to get out of that relationship."
More than doing the job of donning the greasepaint, it is "running the house", that Neha feels "is more difficult a task. You need to take care of a whole lot of things, starting from the kitchen." The actor feels that for a woman, it always makes sense to carve her own identity and not emulate a man. "I believe that men are cut out to do their own set of jobs. 'Don't try to be a man in a man's world', be a woman and you'd be appreciated."
Neha feels the age of social networking has enabled her to keep in touch with friends and fans. "When you are social networking, you get to know your fans' feedback and you get to ping anytime, anywhere. The world has now got to stay connected through a single 'dot'," says Neha.
