Speaking about the film's sequel, the ever-so-beautiful Lara said that it was very encouraging that herfirst production was appreciated. In the same breath, she added that she very well knew if at all there has to be a sequel, it had to be better than the original. She also added that the script is ready and they are ready to shoot with Eros on board as producers.
Readers may recall that Chalo Dilli was Lara Dutta's first home production under the banner of Bheegi Basanti Entertainment with Mahesh Bhupathi's Big Daddy Productions and Eros International. The film starred Lara Dutta and Vinay Pathak.
